a cette fois-ci choisi de rendre hommage à la mythique Route 66 avec un nouveau
coffret 4CD (et 71 titres !), toujours accompagné d’un livret de 24 pages illustré
de photos prises par l'animateur durant son dernier road trip américain.

Al Capone, John Wayne, Easy Rider, John Steinbeck et Jack London, Dodge Charger et Ford Mustang, Thelma et Louise, autant de noms inaltérables gravés dans notre mémoire, souvenirs de liberté, de révolte, de contre-culture, comme de nouveau l’envie de rouler sur cette route transcontinentale tracée dans les années 1920, une route espoir d’un peuple en quête d’une vie meilleure…
Cette Route 66 résonne dans l’esprit des aventuriers de l’asphalte dont nous allons faire partie. La Route 66, c’est huit états traversés, 3945 kilomètres, des endroits hors du temps, des arrêts dans de vieux diners, des gas station old school, des musées, des concerts dans des saloons…
Une Route 66 ne serait pas tout à fait elle-même s’il n’y avait pas la musique pour illustrer les émotions. Alors je vous ai concocté une bande son qui vous accompagnera dans le temps, vous fera rire, vous fera ouvrir de grands yeux, et peut être parfois verser une petite larme en vous disant : « Moi aussi un jour, je la ferai la 66. » - Francis Zégut
