Eric Clapton & Friends : The Breeze, An Appreciation of JJ Cale

Eric Clapton a toujours revendiqué l’influence profonde de JJ Cale sur son œuvre comme en témoignent notamment ses versions d’After Midnight ou de Cocaine.

C’est donc logiquement qu’il rend hommage à son ami musicien, décédé l’année dernière, via un album de reprises de ses compositions à paraître le 28 juillet prochain, pour lequel il a fait appel à Mark Knopfler, John Mayer, Willie Nelson, Tom Petty, Derek Trucks et Don White.
